National Survey on Time Use by Men and Women

2nd Predefined project – National survey on time use by men and women promoted by Centre for Studies for Social Intervention (CESIS), with a maximum grant amount of €568.479. The contract was signed on 1st of October 2014 having a duration of 24 months. It presented as the main partner: Commission for Equality in Labour and Employment (CITE). The aim of this project is to update the diagnosis and characterization of time use by men and women in Portugal, regarding paid work and unpaid care work in particular. It also presents recommendations for public policies, on the articulation of work, personal and family life as tool gender equality.
