Portugal More Equal – Gender Impact Assessment in Public Policies and National Legislative Measures

Portugal more equal – gender impact assessment in public policies and national legislative measures promoted by Question of Equality – Association for Social Innovation, with a maximum grant amount of €98.325 (project grant rate of 90%). The project contract was signed on 5th of June 2015 having duration of 10 months. It presented as main objective the creation of an instrument to integrate and assess the impact of gender dimension in all public policies and legislative measures. An on-line platform was produced with the Practical guide for ex-ante evaluation of gender impact on public policies and national legislative measures, designed to be practical, dynamic and easy, based on the completion of an interactive checklist, which will guide, at each point, the analysis and the process of ex-ante evaluation of the gender impact of a specific policy or legislative measure.
