Stakeholders Meeting (17th of January, Lisbon)

A Stakeholders Meeting took place on the 17th of January, organized by the Commission for Citizenship and Gender Equality, under the PT07: Mainstreaming Gender Equality and Promoting Work-Life Balance of the EEA Financial Mechanism 2009-2014. The purpose of this meeting was to present the main objectives of the Programme, particularly its contribution to reducing social and economic disparities and strengthening bilateral relations between Portugal and the Donor Countries (Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway).

The details of the Programme, the total planned expenditure, the eligible and the total grant amount available, as well as the financial and communication/publicity obligations of the Project Promoters were presented.

It was also revealed the specifics of the 1st Open-Call that will be launch on february: its main objective, eligible activities, and all the administrative and financial procedures, along with the importance of the inclusion of a partner entity of the Donor States which will be valorised.

After these presentations, there was a brief moment for interventions where the public made some pertinent questions, mostly related to the projects duration, the need of partnerships and the amount available.
